About

I obtained a dual degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, and went on to earn my Juris Doctor from Penn State Law. I passed the bar exam and currently work as an insurance defense attorney in Palm Beach County.

Over the last decade I have tutored all ages in a variety of subjects.

My approach to teaching is very hands on and interactive. I am a firm believer in the idea that if you can't explain a concept simply enough then you don't understand it well enough. I strive to ensure that students not only arrive at the correct answer, but understand how and why they got there.

I look forward to working with you soon!

    Frequently asked questions

Math is the Most common subject that I tutor students in. I found it works best to break each problem down into steps. Oftentimes the numbers may change, but the steps rarely do. Once you understand the process it’s easy to find the solution.

I encourage students to show all their work, but in an organized way so it’s easy to go back and review it for possible mistakes. I know math can be daunting so I like to break everything down as simple as possible.

English has always been one of my favorite subjects. I tested into Honors English every year that I was in high school, and I took several writing classes in college.

When I work with a student on vocabulary, I’ve found that the best way for them to retain information is to stay engaged. Through a combination of flashcards and different games I am able to ensure my students are actively learning the whole time.

graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2012 with dual degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. From there I entered the work force for a few years before deciding to take the LSAT. I received a scholarship to Penn State Law and graduated with my Juris Doctor in 2018. The following February I passed the Florida Bar Exam and I now work as an attorney in West Palm Beach.

In addition to my schooling, I have an extensive background working with children. I spent a year employed as a preschool teacher and then four summers as a counselor at the Boys and Girls Club. I began my tutoring career as peer tutor in high school and continued throughout college and law school. My favorite part of tutoring is watching students succeed, especially in subjects they never thought they would. I look forward to being able to watch the next student excel.

It varies depending on how many days per week and how many subjects. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
