Instructional and tutoring services: one-on-one, in person, will use student text supplemented with my own Mathematics references in various disciplines, namely: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics.
Retired professional who worked in Information Technology for 25+ years as a project manager and software developer.
Have instructed adults in College Algebra, Computer Programming, and Project Management.
Formally trained in Mathematics (Bachelor of Science - Math major at The City College of the CUNY) and in applied Statistics and Operations Research (MBA - Quantitative Analysis major at New York University - Stern Graduate School of Business.)
Currently tutoring Geometry.
Available for afternoon and evening classes in Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar, Davie, Plantation, and Sunrise.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Identify Math subjects student has already taken.
2. Identify areas of review needed by student. For example, operations with powers, radicals, logarithms as appropriate for level of Math course stuent is currently taken.
3. Review examples of questions from assignments, quizzes, teacher handouts for review, etc. that student needs help in approach to use to answer such questions and the Math concepts that are used to justify the approach and steps needed to answer question. Includes how to pictorially or graphically represent the question if this is applicable.
