EZ Art Tutoring
About
I have been in the visual arts for the past 10+ years. Currently I am studying 3D Animation and VFX. I received my Bachelors for Multimedia Studies (magna cum laude) with a minor and my Associates in Graphic Design. I have taken AP Studio Art in high school, and over the years gained all the foundational as well as digital principles and concepts which I would love to teach as my teachers have taught me. Although my personal work tries to bend reality, my portfolio shows an execution of the main principles of Visual Arts.
I enjoy every aspect of art, mainly the connection it has with culture and our own psychologies. It is freeing and also transformative. Being able to provide a safe space for a student to train their eyes and learn skills that allow them to express themselves and the world around them, it is a form of communication in my opinion, what's not to enjoy?

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find being relaxed and approachable helps new students drop their guard a little. I like to jump right into the exciting parts of the coursework asking questions along the way to get a feel for their understanding and interest level without making them feel like it is an interview or as if they are being bombarded with questions. Ocassionally sharing my own experineces helps to build relatability and again helps to make the new student comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying in the visual arts field for over 10 years, I finished my Bachelors (magna cum laude) in Multimedia Studies with a minor in Graphic Design. I have been working in fields such as customer service and office management which helps with an array of communication skills, my recent job had me working around kids and I found myself tutoring and bonding with many of them to the point where they felt comfortable sharing their problems with me and asking for guidance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based on hours and the level of material that I am hired for, it varies from person to person but I am open to talking about what suits you best.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always taken the role of the leader and found myself teaching others across various topics. I could guage the way a person understands best and teach them accordingly. I found teaching kids quite fun because of their yearning for information and the way they interpret the world.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids from 3 years old to 16 years old, kids with ADD, kids with behavioral issues, I have helped quite and reserved kids come out of their shell. I have worked with college students and I am open to work with older students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently got accepted to study 3D animation and VFX at PIXL VISN in Germany. This will be an intensive training which will open many doors for me within the entertainment industry and I am looking forward to the experience as well as gaining new skills towards my career.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they have engaging coursework and do not restrict your creativity. In visual arts it is easy to teach the basics but it is hard to steer a young creatives mind in a path that better shows their skills and vision.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
First off, that we (teachers) are here to answer your questions so we love to hear them, whatever they may be. A good way to start off is to figure out what it is you are struggeling with and what do you clearly understand so that we can find where the disconnect happens, from then on it is all about communication, if you do not understand from my first explanation, let me know so I can explain it in a different way and so on.
