Problem Solving Experience
About
I am certified to teach multiple subjects, including English, from primary level through secondary level. I have spent the last 20 years instructing teachers in the United States and various other countries. In addition to many years of teaching, I have coached a multitude of students in the problem solving process. Expertise in problem solving allows me to determine steps needed for success. My peers applauded my success as an educator by selecting me as the recipient of the Florida Association of Gifted Teacher of the Year and the Torrance Creativity Award, on a national level.
Now that I have retired from my role as Executive Director of Future Problem Solving Program International, I will continue in education as a personal trainer and tutor.
While employed as a teacher, I provided home-bound services for multiple subject areas. I enjoyed meeting the students and seeing individuals progress in the area of need.

I like to meet the student to learn about background and level of ability in subject area. Once the need for instruction is determined, I will work out spectific lessons - adjusting as we progress until proficiency is acquired.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent 27 years in education, teaching students (6 years elementary; 6 years middle school, 2 years high school) and training teachers (13 years). In addition, I have trained teachers around the world, using translators as necessary.
