About
I am currently working on getting my Master's degree in Environmental Engineering. I just resigned from teaching middle school and working as a math and exam prep tutor at a tutoring center. I have a degree in chemical engineering and have taught high school level math as well. I have been providing tutoring services to students for about 8 years and am certified to teach mathematics and science to students grades 6 through 12. I have experience with elementary school to college level students and have tutored students who were home schooled or required a personalized program. My rates are flexible and I am available most afternoons and evening provided there is sufficient notice prior. I love being a tutor because I have personally experienced the impact that personalized instruction has on a student. My approach to teaching is collaborative and encourages students to explore different approaches to problems. Helping people learn to do things is my favorite thing to do.
I love watching realization dawn on a person's face. The relief people experience when confusion ends makes me happy
