About

I am a senior college student at UCF, native from Spain but I came to Orlando 3 years ago for college. My major is Teaching Education world languages, with a minor in Mathematics, PE, Spanish, and ESOL, and a certificate in TEFL and Colors. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.

I love helping student reach their goals.

She was an amazing tutor. Although very sadly I had to stop my lessons with her, she was very professional, knowledgeable and very patient. I also appreciate and enjoyed very much our conversations regards different Spanish cultures and histories. She was a delight and I will miss our interactions. She is absolutely someone I would recommend!

I hired Silvia to tutor my daughter for a Spanish ll class, and I am very happy that I did. Silvia was professional, responsive, considerate, and flexible. Best of all, my daughter will finish the class with an “A”. My daughter was very comfortable with Silvia and enjoyed being tutored by her. I would recommend Silvia to anyone that needs a Spanish tutor. You will not be disappointed.

    Frequently asked questions

When working with new students I always like to know their background, why do they want to learn Spanish and their goal.

I am studying a bachelors degree related to this. Also, I have experience with teaching Spanish (mainly kids)

My standard pricing is 15$/h, but it can vary depending on the situation.

I decided I wanted to be a teacher because when I was younger I struggled with learning English but thanks to all the support I had from teachers, tutors, and my family I was able to make it. This is when I decided I wanted to do the same for others, motivate them and show them that it is possible.

Mainly with kids (pre-k to high school)

I also helped college students with English (non-native speakers)

Just make sure is the right one for you. Being able to pick your own tutor is a great thing, because you can pick the one that motivates you to learn more about it.

What is their goal and if they are wanting to work hard for it
