I'm passionate about this field because I believe that languages are the keys to new cultures and knowledge. I also believe that knowing languages brings people of different backgrounds close. Knowing a new language can help people not only to discover new cultures, but also to access better professional opportunities. It also enables international connections and business. All of these reasons encourage me to promote the knowledge of languages at this time. I'm promoting the learning of languages because I want people to access better work opportunities and to discover new cultures. On a final note, I'm in love with the English and Spanish languages. I believe they have wonderful ways of expressing human feelings.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first understand the student's expectations and priorities. Then I will learn his/her preferred learning style in order to adapt to it. Subsequently I will ask a few questions to understand the level of Spanish of the person
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a licensed translator living and working in the United States. My language pair is English and Spanish. I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I teach technical English to accountants through Udemy and Youtube at this time. I have also taught auditing at undergraduate level and received formal training in education. I have been a translator for nine years with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
