Hello! My name is Allison, and I am a private math and science tutor. I currently teach 5th grade math and science and have experience working with elementary and middle school students in both subjects.
As a classroom teacher, I have worked with many different types of learners and learning styles. I am familiar with differentiating instruction to meet individual student needs and believe that every student can be successful with the right support and encouragement. My tutoring approach focuses on building confidence, strengthening foundational skills, and helping students truly understand the “why” behind what they are learning. I strive to create a supportive, patient, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they grow.
