About
I am an alumni from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in History, a Minor-focus in International Relations, and have completed numerous certification required courses related to psychology and counseling. I have privately tutored students from the ages of 7 to 22 in several subjects. These have included a range of; historical topics, General Psychology, research methods/assistance for papers and topics (including proofreading), literature and composition, reading comprehension, and topics in Social Studies.
It is said that; knowledge is something that once gained, is yours to posses. It is a potentially limitless power that you can achieve, and that cannot be taken from you. Personally, I draw enjoyment from any opportunity in which I may help others expand this power. Which is why I take pride in establishing connections together while we over come challenges and explore new information.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Let's get to know each other a little bit first! Tutoring one on one can sometimes feel intimidating, but we are here to help each other grow. Academic relationships founded in mutual understanding and respect nurture the overall process of learning together. From there, we will explore the areas of challenge and form a process and plan to overcome them. Each obstacle we potentially face will be met with determination and patience. Above all, let's nab this knowedlge together and have fun along the way!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing can vary, but I am very flexible depending on the service and am understanding of the primary importance of learning.
How did you get started teaching?
Initially I began tutoring as a supplemental means of income during my time in college. However, I enjoyed the experiences and help I could offer, and have choosen to continue to tutor. As each of my students have been a great source of pride for me.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
As the saying goes, no question is stupid. Break it down into the three C's.
Consider the things you wish to achieve, the things you might sometimes shy away from, and the things you seek to expand upon.
Contemplate your areas of strength that may be utilized to tackle each of those considerations, and skills which could be improved upon.
