I enjoy working with children of all ages and enjoy seeing the spark "ah-ha" moments when they figure your how to do something on their own. To me seeing children's growth in their self esteem as they learn at these times is rewarding from my teaching and indicates skill building and feels "good" as children learn and promotes healthy self esteem. Then the "I can't" turns to "I'll try".

Conversations with my students is one of my favorite times with the children. Often I find that during my teaching session the children teach me a lesson in return and helps me gain knowledge to reflect upon later.
