Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by getting to know the student. I identify the needs of the student as well as their talents. I also set small goals to work towards a larger goal. The smaller goals help the student see that they can be successful. Success helps the student show eagerness and the will to learn more.

I have a Masters degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University. I went to Illinois State University for my Bachelors of Science in teaching.

I have been paid up to $30 an hour. I am willing to negotiate.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to be a teacher since childhood.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with general education students as well as students with learning diasabilities (IEP students) for 20 years.
