About
Hi, I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in mathematics with a focus in probability, statistics, linear algebra, calculus, algorithms, and artificial intelligence. I’ve tutored algebra, geometry, precalculus, and calculus I and II. I also have the ability to tutor a variety of college level classes past calculus. When working with me, I like to first get a quick understanding of the students basics interests in life (ie sports, art, music) and do my best to explain math concepts in a way that relates best to them. I also assess their learning style and try my best to cater to the manner in which they learn best (auditory, tactile, visual). I also have a teaching style where I ask a lot of questions. I will explain concepts clearly, but when practicing with students, I will communicate with them and ask them questions to guide them to the correct answer instead of solving a problem for them. With me, students will learn how to effectively ask questions, evaluate math problems, and uncover the solution. My goal with students is not only that they learn to solve the problems at hand but they become more comfortable solving new types of problems they may have never seen before using their critical thinking skills. I work with students with the goal of them growing their critical thinking skills and fully comprehending the math topics, not just effectively solving problems.
