About
MakeScienceEasy is my way of helping you understand science. My goal is for you to have the tools necessary to tackle any challenges your science courses may bring. I graduated college with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and have been in Medical School for 3 years studying abroad. I've helped countless students around me throughout my medical journey and can help you too!
I've taken the DAT and MCAT, have familiarity with basic sciences as well as advanced medical sciences. I am fluent in English and Spanish. If you're interested in tutoring, in English or Spanish, let me know, i'd be more than happy to help you achieve your science goal grades this school year!
Science seems a bit daunting at times, what I love is taking a challenging concept and teaching students to understand what's being said and asked to a point where they can confidently master a topic. The "A-ha" light bulb moment gets me every time!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Firstly, I get to know my student and ask questions about their study style (what has and hasn't worked for them), then we go over their goals for the course/home work/exam in question and finally find a study schedule that works for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from FIU with a Bachelor's in Biology
Completed the MCAT and DAT
I have been in Medical School living abroad for the last 3 years. First in Costa Rica and now in Poland
How did you get started teaching?
I began tutoring and helping my classmates in college
What types of students have you worked with?
High school and college students
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice is to find a tutor that compliments your individual learning style and personality, science is structured but learning science does not work the same for everyone. Find a tutor that individualizes your learning style and keep an open mind for trying new techniques that could work for you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
All questions are valid but before seeking help try sorting out what you're looking for in tutoring. For example, if you're finding your biology course challenging, narrow down what you're struggling with (like the cell cycle or the Kreb's cycle) that way we can knock out specific topics and move forward to the next and we can look back and reference topics we already mastered.
