About
I make my lessons about each student individually. Since I was never really a teacher, I do not have anything preset or molded for everyone, which allows me to really focus on the students needs and mental blocks and I assess them the best way that I know how.
I know how tough math can be, specially if you are not really a numbers person. I have a little brother that does not like math at all, and helping him get through it and seeing him learn and eliminate mental blocks may be one of the most gratifying things I have ever done.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Normally I assess the student's needs, I see if the student/parents have a specific objective that they want to achieve, I check where improvements can be made and I look for the best way to reach each individual student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated cum laude in business administration and economy, and I have done tutoring at university level. This will be my first time actually working on tutoring.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$40 per hour on recurring classes
$60 per hour on one time classes
How did you get started teaching?
I started tutoring in my second year of college, particularly to my soccer teammates that needed help. Then I started tutoring for everyone who needed it.
What types of students have you worked with?
University undergraduates
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
That not every student learns the same way and at the same time. Find a teacher with patience and creativity to find alternative ways to better reach the student.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Well, I would take a look inside to better understand why are you not getting the results that you want. Most of the problems with school clases, specially math, have nothing to do with how smart a person is. It is easy to get frustrated and mentally blocked when it comes to school, so understanding that and working towards erasing that limit is essential.
