Hi ! Part of why I think I’d be the right tutor for you is because I’ve always had a love for language ! I was reading at a college level when I was 8, and I was placed in the gifted program early on because of my reading and writing skills. I’ve been drawn to stories, essays, and big ideas ever since, but what I really care about is helping things click for other people. I definitely know my way around an essay, and I can't wait for you to be as confident ! I'm super patient and love breaking down complex ideas into super simple steps. I never think anyone is dumb or inherently bad at anything, they just haven't found the right system. I've struggled with ADHD and anxiety (especially test anxiety !!) myself, and I want to show others that it never has to be as difficult as it seems. My students say I'm down to earth and inviting, and I can't wait to make English your new favorite class (or, at least, make you hate it less) !
