Private Language Arts Tutor

I have been working with children for over about half a year now through my church. Through this opportunity, I have gained experience in teaching large classes of elementary-age children Bible lessons on Sundays and in serving as a camp counselor for our one-week Vacation Bible School. I have also had the chance to work with middle school and high school youth who attend the church, acting as a small group leader for middle school girls and as a camp counselor/leader in the summer. I’m now in my third year of college as I study Communications, having already earned my Associate’s Degree. In high school, I graduated Summa Cum Laude as the top 3% in a very large graduating class and was named the female Scholar Athlete for my school, meaning I achieved the highest GPA as a dedicated student athlete.

I love working with children, especially those who are middle school age and above, because I receive an incredible fulfillment from the impact I’m able to have on their lives. Children are our future and too often they are set aside and neglected; I just want to be able to do my part in helping them to grow into the mature, responsible adults who will one day lead our country.
