What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, we start by assigning a free diagnostic exam to assess the student's strengths and weaknesses. We use these results to create an individualized plan of study that is used throughout all sessions. By focusing primarily on major areas of weakness, this ensures efficient use of your time while providing maximum improvement throughout the duration of study.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the founder of Top Score Tutors, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Master's Degree in Higher Education, so I am very passionate about this field. I utilize my teaching skills to make the tutoring experince effective and engaging. My experience working professionally at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate level has exposed me to the variety of ways in which students learn.
I have been helping students preapre for the SAT for over five years, with more than 1,000 hours of tutoring experience in both individual and group settings.
