I first started tutoring in different subjects of mathematics through the mathematics honor society at my high school. Through that I met students of many different skill levels and was able to learn different techniques to teach every single one of them. Eventually after taking Chemistry 1 and 2 at Florida International University after successfully completing the class with extremely high exam scores, I started to tutor in it as well. I am currently a fifth year Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences, at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where I study cell death, mitochondrial dynamics and induced protein degradation technology. I currently work as an official mentor for the Biomedical Science PhD program to help new graduate students adjust to graduate school. Previously, I graduated cum laude from UNC - Asheville with a B.S in Biology while doing undergraduate research in biochemistry and molecular biology. During this time, I also concurrently worked as a tutor for the Biology department, in an official capacity. In total I have extensive experience spanning: cel
