I have a BFA in Painting and Drawing and a BA in Art History from schools in New York and Italy. I am a Florida-certified visual arts teacher presently teaching at a magnet arts school in Broward County. I have been teaching art at a magnet school for many years. I am an artist based in South Florida that shows work in galleries and events nationwide. I enjoy painting and drawing both realistically and abstract. I have given many private lessons in the past to children and adults of all ages. Usually, students looking for my services hope to develop their portfolio to apply to a magnet high school or college. Though I have taught art just for improving a student's technique as well. My business includes art tutoring, portfolio development, as well as presenting my artwork and live painting at events. I am very patient and understanding of ones' goals whatever they may be.
I love art and I teach what I do best. I truly believe in the potential of everyone and that they can do whatever they set their mind to when given the right tools after learning how to use them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I can teach both virtually or in-person and have a large amount of experience in both as a magnet arts teacher. I see student examples of prior work and then assign several artistic tasks for the student to do to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. After that, processes and techniques will be display and mirrored with close instruction to make those weaknesses into their strengths. After this a portfolio is made to show these strengths in several fully-finished artworks.

How did you get started teaching?
Well I am an artist and magnet school teacher that has been making art since I was a child. I went to New York and Italy for school and then came back here exhibiting in galleries and shows while teaching everything I know to the potential artists rising up.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from toddler all the way to senior citizen. I have worked with every age group.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent tutoring event I am fond of is getting my current student into the magnet arts school she hoped for. I have also helped students get into college as well as just learning how to better their craft.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I can teach you everything you need to know as long as you try your best.
