What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My focus would be on figuring out what the student needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a teacher currently. I am certified in K-6 Elementary Education and 6-12 English. I am also Reading endorsed and ESOL endorsed. I have been teaching 6th grade English Language Arts for 3 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As a certified teacher, my lessons are $40-50/hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I graduated with my teaching degree in December 2019 and started teaching immediately after.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of students with exceptionalities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say that it's important to find a teacher who is willing to work with what you are looking for, but also trust that the teacher knows what your student needs.
