A+ Student Inc.
About
Though this "company" consists of one man, the particular individual behind it has gone from being a near college drop-out to an excelling A+ student at the University of South Florida - St. Petersburg.
Hello, my name is Nicholas O'Daniel. I am a 2018 graduate from the Biology program at USF - SP, where the cirriculum covered everything from biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, communications and many more.
What is crucial to succeeding in a program that demands so much from its students is a fundamental understanding of each subject and the conviction to work at achieving that state.
What I can offer to students:
- Time management skills
- Helpful study habits
- Fundamental understanding of science and mathematics
- Personal advice for college and what to expect after
- A friendly conversation about the hardships they find in their work and ultimiately how to overcome them
My college experience is my personal touch and I'd be glad to share it with anyone who can benefit from it.
Please feel free to message me for any details or questions regarding a tutorship.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know the student first will benefit the process. I'll simply ask them questions about their likes and dislikes in school and get a feel for their study habits and ambitions. By working closely with the student a dialog about helpful practices will develop. After getting comfortable with the new tutor-student dynamic, we will begin working at developing a fundamental understanding of the topic at hand.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is in Biology from the B.S. program at the University of South florida - St. Petersburg.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We can start by pick out a time slot that works for us. Usually, a student should spend 1-2 hours (depending) for a given subject a night. I will charge by the hour to begin, but move toward pricing by time slot within 1-2 weeks.
How did you get started teaching?
My teaching experience stems back to teaching my younger friend in elementary school. In college, I would lead in study groups for chemistry, biology and mathematics.
What types of students have you worked with?
Peers in college make up a majority of my tutees.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher understands the struggles of being a student. Raw information with little guidance on how to grapple with it does not make for a successful session.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
A student should consider what their likes and dislikes are in academics as well as their strengths and weaknesses and finally where they would like to succeed in life, whether it be for financial, academic or personal success.
