Tony Denton

I am a senior citizen, born in Bogota ,Colombia in 1947. Lived in both Colombia and Peru. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Graduated from UCLA in 1969 and my first job ever was teaching kindergarten. Taught elementary school for 5 years and then went into the oil and gas business, working all over South America for various American Companies. . My kindergarten experience was teaching children who spoke only Spanish and I am proud to say all my pupils were successful in learning the basics of reading and writing in Spanish and English. "Vaya! cosa mas grande la vida" is my favorite expression. My next favorite expression is also in Spanish and I learned it at an early age from my Colombian mother y es "cantado : dos y dos son cuatro, cuatro y dos son seis. Sies y dos son ocho y ocho dieciseis. " Learning with me is fun. I taught a lot of children that way as a teacher and may I add, a lot of adults as an Instructor Tecnico in the oil business.
