My name is Al Woodall, and I'm honored that you've taken the time to visit. Choosing the right tutor is an important decision, and I want you to know that when we work together, you're getting much more than someone who simply explains lessons or prepares you for a test. You're getting someone who genuinely wants to see you succeed.
For more than forty years, my career has been devoted to teaching, mentoring, counseling, and encouraging others. I've worked as a college admissions counselor, college instructor, social worker, trainer, and educator. Throughout my career, I've helped students from many different backgrounds discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and reach goals they once thought were beyond their reach.
My philosophy is simple: every student can learn. Sometimes all that's needed is someone who is patient enough to explain a concept in a different way, encourage confidence, and never give up.
When you work with Helping Hand Tutoring, you're not just another appointment on my schedule. I take the time to understand how you learn, where you're struggling, and what will help you become more successful. Whether you need help mastering a difficult subject, improving your study habits, building confidence, or preparing for an important exam, I'll work beside you every step of the way.
I believe learning should never be intimidating. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you can ask questions freely, make mistakes without fear, and celebrate every accomplishment along the way.
