About
One of my biggest passions in life is helping others and tutoring is an outlet that I have utilized for almost a decade now to purse that goal. My intersted in education started with my first job when I started working at a Kumon Learning Center at the age of 13 teaching mathematics and reading comprehension to students of all ages. From there, I went on and started my own free private tutoring club where students would provide free tutoring to other fellow students for the sole purpose of giving back. In addition to this, I offered private tutoring in the subjects of AP calculus, college algebra, and pre-calculus and AP biology during high school.
I attended and earned my Bachelor's of Science at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Currently, I am in my 3rd year of medical school as a student of Nova Southeastern University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. My love for teaching continuted during my undergraduate times and still continues today. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored fellow students in genetics, biochemistry, the DAT, the MCAT, and organic chemistry. In medical school, I tutor not only fellow medical students but also other students in programs such as Dentistry and Ophtamology with subjects such as physiology and biochemistry.
For me, the satisfaction I see in tutoring is witnessing the smile or gratitude students express when they earn the results they have always desired. I feel as invested as the students are in acheiving their goals and will be persistent till we do. I will do as much as I can to be there for the student, no matter the time of day to help with any questions. I'd love to help any students who are taking steps to make their dreams a reality!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a standard pricing system but usually try to charge average rates, which according to this website is $50 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching out of my love of just helping people.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as 10 to students who are 30 years old.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you hire a teacher who is truly listening to you. You want to be in control of your teacher because they are here to help you. Be sure that your teacher takes feedback properly and uses it to adjust rather than just sticking to what they believe is the right thing for you because you know whats best for yourself.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what type of person you think would be congruent with your personality and teaching style. Also, look to see if you can relate to your teacher well. I think its important to find somone who can not only be a teacher, but also a friend.
