I graduated from the University of Education, Russia, Special Education program with a major in Language Arts in 1981 and taught Language Arts to public school students in Russia for 17 years. Upon immigration to the USA, my Russian diploma was evaluated as a master’s degree in special education from a regionally accredited institution. I passed a Russian fluency exam 20 years ago and worked as a fully credentialed teacher at the Los Angeles Unified School District for several years. I also had extensive experience giving private Russian language lessons to people of different ages. I love guiding my students toward their success and enjoy receiving words of gratitude from their families. As a native Russian speaker and a professional teacher of the Russian language, I offer my unique, highly effective teaching skills and methods that I acquired over the course of nearly 40 years of my teaching career. Each lesson plan is custom-made for a student’s unique educational needs.
