As a parent looking for a tutor to help your child, you already know the importance of customizing learning to the student. With 12 years of experience teaching language arts to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, I have directly experienced the power of differentiating my instruction. I have tailored my teaching to each child's needs in the classroom and as part of an after-school tutoring program. If your child needs help with their reading or writing, I will be able to pinpoint precisely what help they need and then deliver that help in an engaging fashion that will motivate them to reach their full potential. I am a certified Teacher of English K-12 and have taught middle school language arts for 12 years. I came to teaching after spending more than 20 years in business and put that business experience to good use teaching "real world" applications of reading, writing and a love of literature.
