About
Hello! My name is Jasmine! I am a graduate of the University of North Florida (2015) with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have taught Early Childhood and Elementary Education for 10 years. I am well versed in many subjects with an emphasis on math and reading.
I am currently a graduate student at Webster University with a flexible schedule that allows me to continue to enrich the lives and education of children. I have a deep passion for teaching and children.

I love seeing growth! Everyone is capable of learning and succeeding in their education; however, we all learn differently. I enjoy teaching and turtoring because it allows me to aid in a student's educational growt in the manner in which they need it!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I first meet a student, I like to build rapport. This allows the student to become more comfortable as we get to know one another.
I then find out where the student is having difficulty and assess where the student is; therefore, we have an accurate starting point for where the student is and can grow.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Florida (2015).
I have worked in childcare in the state of Florida for 10 years. I hold the following credentials within the childcare setting:
DCF 45 childcare training hours
Child Development Associates
Advance Directors Credential
Countless hours of in service educational hours
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My services start at $15 per 45 - 60 minute session.
Price varies depending on the difficulty of the subject as well as student's starting level.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a passion for learning. As I grew older, my passion for teaching naturally developed. Going to school to become a teacher was a no brainer!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a plethora of students. Students of all ages and educational levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell any parent and student to go with a tutor that fits the need. Education is a serious matter. The student needs someone who is understanding and compassionate. As well as well versed in the subjects they are having difficulty in with a teaching style that works for the individual.
