NGreene Nursing/NCLEX Tutoring
About
As a neuro/stroke bedside nurse (from medsurg to ICU), I've learn a passion of teaching new nurses. Nurturing vs "eating the young," has been a healtier method that I've learn improves patient care and outcomes over time. I had 8 preceptors as a new grad nurse, and it was overwhelming chaos.
I have my BSN from Marian University - Indianapolis and my Masters in Health Leadership (MHL) from WGU. I am certified in stroke and medical surgical nursing with hopes to be certified in neuro and critical care nursing. I take any opportunity to teach new nurses, patient care techs, coworkers in school, and even my patients and families. I find satisfaction when someone has that moment when everything clicks or realizes something they've struggled to understand.
I've recently started direct tutoring services and enjoy it!

I truly enjoy when my student is able to fully grasp and understand topics we have been working on.
I also like when they are incorporating new ideas and processes into their normal every day studying.
It's satisfying when the work I put in pays off well for the student.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first start out by reaching out with a welcome email. I provide and share a google drive folder for all resources. I have my BSN and MHL. I am SCRN and CMSRN. I have 3 years of medical surgical experience and almost 1 year of ICU experience. I have charge and precepting experience as well.
