What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I identify where the student is on identifying sounds and letter recognition. I continue with teaching them short vowels and sight words. Move on onto reading fluency.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associate in Arts in Eary childhood education and I am a Montessori trained teacher.
How did you get started teaching?
I started working with preschool students at the age of 18 years old, continued on through teaching preschool since then.
