I am a recent graduate from the University of Miami, School of Arts & Sciences, Pre-Law Program with a major in Criminal Justice. I am a fluent Spanish speaker. I have assisted ESOL and Spanish teachers in Broward County, Florida in teaching students English. My ultimate goal as a tutor is for the student to feel comfortable, and to obtain tangible results in learning the English language. I hope to meet some of you soon!

I teach English, also with students who have a speech disorder. English literature is an added subject I also teach. Not every child learns the same. I take my time with them to teach them so that they understand. If I have to go a topic/subject quite a few times to make sure they understand, I will do so. I try to make it enjoyable for the student, so they do not get bored easily. We work together as a team.

Hello! I am a recent college graduate. I have been tutoring children for 8 years now, and have taught students in all subjects ranging from ages 4-19! I am certified with the American Youth Literacy Foundation (YouthLit) and have passed rigorous certification tests in the sciences, math, and reading comprehension. I currently teach 4th grade. I am a certified teacher in Florida and have taught for 8 years. I taught kindergarten for 4 years and have taught 4th grade for 4 years. I currently hold a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, focusing on the needs and skill levels of students of ages k-8. I have worked as an after-school teacher as a college student through Code Explorers. I spent 1-2 hours twice a week further educating kindergarten through middle schoolers on science/technology (coding). I have plenty of patience and understanding, I truly love to teach. I have a B.S in Psychology with a concentration in Biology. I believe that education is the foundation of our community. By helping others learn and continue to educate themselves I feel so fulfilled.
