I enjoy teaching because I like helping others and I always learn along the way. I believe that education is one of the most valuable assets someone can have, and I feel that it is my mission to share some of the knowledge that I was privileged to have acquired and developed throughout my academic journey.
I fell in love with teaching back in high school, through community service and volunteer work. I got the chance to teach art, drawing, and reading to young children from underprivileged communities in my city. I also participated in a program to teach teenagers English as a second language. In addition to that, I tutored other students taking classes that I had previously excelled at both in high-school and in college. I helped some students with their college application essays, which contributed to them entering top-tier universities in the US.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to have an introductory class to meet the student, introduce myself, and hear about their background and goals. This way I can prepare the material and structure my classes appropriately.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did the IB Diploma in High School and I have a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from New York University. In order to achieve this, I had to learn and develop a good level of self-discipline and strong communication skills. I particularly cultivated my writing skills through courses and experience with various different forms of writing assignments that always challenged me to continuously improve.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge on an hourly basis. Pricing can be directly discussed with clients.
How did you get started teaching?
I first fell in love with teaching back in high school, through community service and volunteer work. I got the chance to teach young children from a daycare center. I also participated in a program at my school, where I got to teach English as a second language to teenagers from underprivileged communities. In addition to that, I tutored students from my own school and later university, who were taking classes that I had previously excelled at. Finally, I helped some students with their college application essays, which contributed to them entering top-tier universities.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of different ages and levels, from elementary school all the way to college. I have also taught some graduate or post-college level students who were seeking to improve their English language and writing skills.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am particularly fond of a recent conversation with a past student whom I helped write his college essay last year. Presently, after his first year of college, he expressed his gratitude for our work together. He told me he strongly believes that I directly contributed to his admission to and success at his university. His words brought tears (of joy) to my eyes.
