I have been a Broward County Public Schools math teacher for over 13 years, and a math tutor for over 18 years.
I have a Master’s degree in teaching mathematics from FAU, and 30 master’s level credits in special education from Long Island University.
I am a wife, mother, and teacher. I enjoy math and helping others see the joy in it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first time I work with a student, I spend at least 15 minutes assessing where the student is. I do not charge for this additional time.

I am currently a Broward County math teacher.

I wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember.

Regular/Honors
I have no problem working with students that have learning disabilities or ADD.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Having a high level of math ability, does not mean you have a teaching ability. Make sure the person you hire understands not only the subject, but how to teach that specific subject.
