Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look into my profile! My name is Ethan, and I am a current undergraduate at the University of Florida pursuing a degree in Computer Science. I earned a 1550 on my SAT (790 Reading, 760 Math), and received a score of 5 on 11 AP Exams including AP Calculus AB, AP English Language & Composition, AP United States History, and more. I have active industry certifications for CompTIA ITF+, MTA: Security Fundamentals, and MTA: Networking Fundamentals, accompanied by many years of training in cybersecurity and data management. Paired with a 99th percentile score on my PSAT, I was a National Merit Commended Scholar and a consistent top student in one of the highest-achieving schools in Florida.

I have been a tutor for over two years now and an online tutor since the beginning of 2023. I have taught students from Kindergarten through High School Seniors in a variety of topics including the SAT and ACT, AP Classes like AP English Language & Composition and AP Calculus AB, and K-12 Math, Science, Reading, English, and History courses. I have engaged in multiple tutoring approaches in that time from in-person dynamic classroom spaces accompanied by additional tutors to online one-on-one sessions, and always make sure the needs of each student are my top priority. I work intently with each student to identify areas of difficulty and underlying problems that go beyond the obvious in order to give the student the full ability to succeed in their academics. I am engaging and energetic in my discussions and always make sure to ask questions in order to know whether the student is on track for success.
