I am a Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida. I have two years of experience tutoring undergraduate students in subjects such as biology and engineering mechanics. I am passionate about empowering students to recognize and reach their full potential.

I have been teaching Mechanical Engineering courses at university level for more than 10 years. The subjects that I have taught most often are Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer. I have been tutoring for many years. I spent all of highschool tutoring elementary school kids in reading comprehension and math. In college, I have tutored in multiple subjects including chemistry, physics, calulus 1, calculus 2, differential equations, algebra, SAT prep, etc.

I want to show you that you don't need to be afraid of math. Some of the most difficult math concepts and processes are already a part of you. You do them in your head every day, without even realizing it. I simply need to show you how to decode those concepts and how to express them. Einstein once said that 'mathematics is the poetry of logical thinking.' That's what I love about math and physics; it's so much more than just numbers on a page. It's the ability to reason and think creatively. And even though it's a man-made construct, we can use it to describe the entire universe.

With over 6 years experience teaching math, I know the Florida State standards, the FSA requirements for each grade level, and the graduation requirements extensively. I am extremely passionate about teaching students math, and strive to change the way we educate math in our public schools.
