Mil's Tutoring
About
I love taking complex subjects and breaking them down so that just about anyone can understand it. Simplicity is key and I teach my students how to give themselves grace while becoming more confident in mastering concepts. I meet each student at their comfort level and adapt my communication styles to be digestible for every learner. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Biology and have a passion for science and math. I was awarded the Alumni Academic Scholarship to cover my tuition for my undergraduate studies and I completed multiple science-based research projects while attending my undergraduate program.
My favorite part about working with students is their resiliency. I love to set goals with my students and being able to see proven results makes the student more confident in their capabilities. The skills that we develop in sessions will not only allow students to develop academically, but socially and professionally as well.
