Nicole Stodard, Ph.D.

I hold a BA and a PhD in English and have 20 years of experience teaching composition, rhetoric, literature and theatre in higher ed institutions throughout Florida. In addition to teaching at the college level, I have taught writing workshops for middle and high school students. I am passionate about instilling in students the importance high quality, ethical research practices, compelling thesis statements and research questions, sentence level correctness, and global coherence and cohesion in writing. I can help students master the 'nuts and bolts' of writing, tackle research papers with confidence, and craft compelling college entrance essays.
