MathDBase Project
About
Hi, I'm John Kisseadoo, founder of the MathDBase Project. I started tutoring math as a freshman in college, many years ago and continued through my college years, eventually running the math lab at my university.
Though I spend most of my time working on the MathDBase Project – primarily, a comprehensive concepts database for every course from Arithmetic through Calculus, and a solutions database of over 500,000 math problems, including workbooks, worksheets and quizzes – my approach to writing and solving is based on over 25 years of in-person tutoring.
I specialize in math tutoring, test preparation and home-school teaching from a fundamentals approach. Fully understanding the basics is particularly important in mathematics in order to do well in class work and on tests. My focus is on helping students from middle school through college, by structuring my approach based on the specific student’s requirements.
