Elodie Hollant - Private Tutor
About
I am a Pratt Institute graduate, and also a current student of the Relay Graduate School of Education. At Pratt, I studied creative writing, and in my current schooling at Relay, I am studying general education (reading, writing, and math) for K-12 students.
As a former kindergarten teacher and middle-school tutor, I have experience working with different age bands and a variety of material. My teaching practice is rooted in thoughtfulness, and warm rigor. I aim to get to know each learner: their strengths, interests, and places where they need additional support. Then, I tailor my expertise to suit their needs. Lastly, I value open communication. I encourage students and parents/guardians to offer constructive critique, in order to best offer my assistance to each individual student.
