About
I enjoy seeing my students grasp topics they before thought to be challenging and out of reach. My greatest accomplishment is the 'aha!' moments student have when they finally understand a topic and develop confidence in their skills!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first start with understand what the student's strengths and weaknesses are. I aim to meet my students where they are so we can grow from there. Once I understand my role in their education, I employ a holistic review of the material. I focus on conceptual understanding so the student is able to fill in any holes and is most prepared for what the exam throws at them. I believe discussing the topic allows the student to come up with questions and solidifies the material.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology and Cell sciences. While at UF I tutored various science courses with a 5 star review. I also worked as a Teacher's Assistant for 2 semesters under 2 different professors. My main role was aiding students in areas they still needed to review. Since graduating I took a job as a middle school science teacher before being accepting in to medical school to become a physician.
