About
Good day, Students and Parents,
I am currently working as a Computer Science teacher, and while my background is in the business field, I truly enjoy learning alongside my students. Over the years, I have gained experience teaching subjects such as Intro to Business, Photoshop, Digital Art, and the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as supporting students through apprenticeship programs. I earned my masters degree in Career and Technical Edicaiton at the Univeristy of South Florida. My undergraduate degee is in Business Administration focus on Marketing.
Right now, I am excited to be working with middle school students using Micro:bits, MakeCode, and Digital Discovery tools to explore coding and technology in fun, hands-on ways.
Previously, I have worked with college students in roles that included advising, course registration, and teaching business, accounting, and Microsoft applications. With over ten years of experience, I have developed a strong sense of patience and adaptability, and I enjoy working with learners of all ages. I am a bi-lingual Spanish too. Also, I own my own dog boarding business.
