Talitha Couture

Hello! My name is Talitha Couture, and I am passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for my students. With the belief that every child can succeed, it's my mission to help them realize their strengths, build confidence, and achieve their goals through relationship-building and engaging lessons.

With a background in elementary as well as gifted education, I have spent 15 years teaching and inspiring students. I hold a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and gifted endorsement from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and I am always looking for new ways to grow as an educator through new experiences, professional development as well as collaboration with my colleagues.

In my classroom, I emphasize kindness, leadership, curiosity, and critical thinking, and I encourage students to take ownership of their learning. I strive to make lessons engaging and relevant, and I work to make learning an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking and watching my kids play volleyball and hockey. I am excited to be a part of this community and look forward to helping each student thrive academically and personally.
