About
I work with the current assignments and work to fill any learning gaps. Tutoring involves mastery and test preparation to build and enhance student confidence.
i love students and helping them solve their learning difficulties. I work side by side with them and do all the same problems they do teaching them to show their work in such a way so they can always produce the right answer. I work for complete mystery of the concepts to build an unshakable student confidence in their skills.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work with a student one on one usually two times per week. Sessions are student directed with input from parents each session . I am most interested in how the student wishes to be corrected. The proper guidance delivered to suit the student's needs allows the student to progress at a rapid rate. I work all the problems with the student so we can compare notes and visually see the solutions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree, a master's degree and have been teaching since 1968. I love seeing students attain mastery of mathematics so they have many educational options.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I travel to the student , usually a nearby library or restaurant . I devote the entire hour to the student and prepare all teaching materials before I arrive at the session.
How did you get started teaching?
I am retired now but I still love working with students one on one. I love to see the mastery miracle happen. Before I retired I owned education businesses dedicated to academic excellence and mastery of intellectual skills.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of every ethnic group and all learning disability categories. I am patient and attentive to the student's needs. I take great care to tailor each lesson to meet student's needs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Currently I have been working with a 12 year old student who has severe ADHD. We have been working together for about two years. He has experienced the loss of his mother and other lesser losses. It is my joy to see him keep up his schoolwork and complete his assignments satisfactorily. Both of us enjoy the sessions and his long term memory and problem solving skills are progressing nicely.
