With over 20 years of experience in English language teaching, I have worked with a diverse range of learners across different age groups, backgrounds, and academic goals. My teaching journey has taken me through classrooms with young learners taking their first steps in English, adult professionals aiming to improve their communication skills, and university-bound students preparing for academic success.

One of my core strengths is my ability to adapt my teaching style to suit each learner. For young learners, I create engaging, interactive lessons that build confidence and foster a love of language through games, storytelling, and creative activities. With adults, I focus on practical communication, tailoring lessons to real-life contexts such as workplace communication, presentations, and everyday interactions.

I also have extensive experience supporting students in gaining entry to universities and receiving their preferred job offer. I guide learners through exam preparation (such as IELTS and other English proficiency tests), academic writing, interview skills, and overall readiness for studying in an English-speaking environment. My approach combines structured learning with personalised feedback, helping students achieve the scores and skills they need to succeed.

What sets my teaching apart is my focus on building confidence, critical thinking, and independent learning skills. I believe language learning is not just about grammar and vocabulary, but about empowering students to express themselves clearly and effectively in any situation.

Throughout my career, I have also taken on leadership and consultancy roles, working with schools and families to support educational pathways and successful placements. This broader perspective allows me to better understand each student’s goals and guide them strategically toward their future.
