From the moment I graduated from Middlebury College as an English major I have been an educator, first as a high school English and American Studies teacher, then as a principal, Superintendent of Schools and adjunct professor of education policy analysis. During my 40 years in education, I have taught students at all levels, from elementary school to adults seeking to improve their writing skills. As a current college student with 4+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.
