Revelation12:22
About
I get an absolute kick out of someone I'm helping breakthrough a problem with, then all of a sudden they look up at me with those deers in the headlight look, and they (practically in tears by now) loudly blurt out, "I got it!" That is the most satisfying and rewarding aspect of this job. ๐๐ฏ

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It is crucial to set my student at ease and to create a dialogue, understand a bit about them, tell them a bit about myself, before beginning studies. We both will strive for momentous victory through exceptional private instruction. ๐๐๐
I don't view this as just a regular "job". It is much more profound than that. With the help of God, I am molding these young minds with analytical and information that they need. I hope that the curriculum that I'm going to teach is one that will further them and make them into little scholars. I also realize that each student is a human being, and they have their different personalities, the other good days and their bad days. Each of them also have a particular way to comprehend and absorb the information and I always keep an eye on this so to be sure that I am instructing them and the best possible way. It's about me, not them. Most exceed in one of these four distinctive learning environments :
- Visual (learn through seeing)
- Auditory (learn through hearing)
- Tactile (learn through touch)
- Kinesthetic (learn through doing and moving)
I strive in making sure that the objectives procured in my pre-planning make each child raison d'être

How did you get started teaching?
When I was in the middle of my career, I was invited to teach at the local College and I took notice that my students were highly appreciative of me and I of them. Must have been in 2012, when I first started teaching. Not only that, but I'm a single father. So I know and appreciate the rewarding feeling that comes along when the child "finally gets it" . Or better yet, when they are so enthralled in their studies that they just can't put the book down.๐
What types of students have you worked with?
Many different kinds. I also taught a mentally challenged 20-year-old, I was trying to pass his state certification for paramedic. It was remote tutoring, I'm here in South Florida and he was in Indiana I believe. And then there are students who are serious about their academic achievements, or some could care less. But, that's where I play significant role๐

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Sure to speak to them, so that way you can pretty much tell if you guys get along or not. I can tell you this, it's not that fun spending an hour trying to overcome an academic hurdle with someone that you just don't get along with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would recommend actually writing down a list. When I was younger, in order to stay organized, I would frequently write down to do lists or a reminder list or to ask list. I recommend the same for you! And if you just want to go with the flow, then go with the flow. It's all good
