What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Establishing what a student needs is the most important first step. As a tutor and teacher, we need to know exactly what a student needs. Step one is speaking to the parents AND the student in order to establish exactly what he or she needs.
Afterward, we spend time determining what a student's current strengths and weaknesses through a series of diagnostics are before developing a personalized plan for that student.
That personalized plan will be implemented on a regular schedule in order to achieve the best possible results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are both trained teachers with an MEd. in Teaching and an MSEd in Childhood Education. We have 10 years+ of teaching experience both in and out of a classroom across multiple age groups and differing educational needs. We have both worked within a variety of student needs including English Language Learning, ESE, and gifted students.

We charge 40-50 dollars per hour depending on travel needs and location.
