I am a recent college graduate with a double Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry. I have had experience teaching and assisting students in school with science related courses that has peaked my interest in becoming a tutor! Because I am a younger age, I feel that I’m able to connect to many of my younger students.
I enjoy being able to really make a difference in a students education! I like knowing that by teaching that student new methods and tips or even ways to study, I can help them better their study habits and develop a way to improve their overall educational path.

I believe it is essential to first understand what the student knows and where their base of knowledge lies within the topic. Once that foundation is clearly defined, it seems best to build on that students knowledge and challenge them with new concepts, critical thinking situations, and practice problems.

I think it is very important to find someone that you truly connect with! Every person deserves to have a trial and if you find a tutor that is willing to work with your progress and help you make a difference with your education then that is very important.
