Danai's Tutoring

Hi, I’m Danai — and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m an elementary educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, 10 years of classroom experience teaching kindergarten through 6th grade, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Education. Think of our sessions as a judgment-free zone. I meet students exactly where they are, figure out how they learn best, and build from there. Some students need things explained three different ways before it clicks — that’s not a problem for me, that’s just teaching. I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely excited when a student has that “I got it!” moment. Sessions with me are structured but never rigid; I come prepared with a plan but stay flexible based on what you need that day.

I’ll do an excellent job because I’ve been doing this — really doing it — for 10 years. I haven’t just studied education theories; I’ve lived them in the classroom every single day. I understand the standards, the common stumbling blocks by grade level, and the strategies that actually work with young learners. My ongoing graduate studies keep me current on the latest instructional best practices. Most importantly, I care. Every student deserves someone in their corner who believes they can succeed — and I’m that person.
