Dr STEM Tutoring

I began tutoring high school chemistry students, as well as special need elementary students, as a freshman in college. I expanded my portfolio of subjects as I progressed through my BS (Honors-In-Biochemistry and Biology with Honors Humanities), teaching assistantship (nutrition and physiology), and finally my Doctor of Medicine and residency. I believe that by explaining topics as simply as possible, utilizing practical examples, and tailoring methods to each student, that every student can be successful.

I have always loved teaching, and still find joy in working with students after 20 years. It is incredibly gratifying to help students to the "lightbulb" moments and to see their confidence grow.
