Peggy taught my daughter when she was in 5th grade. She had struggled with reading since starting school. Peggy was able to identify what skills she was missing and it made her reading quickly improve. She jumped 1 year in reading after just 3 months of tutoring! I am grateful and my daughter is happy.

Peggy has a lot of experience that really helped my son. He was in second grade and it just wasn’t going well because his reading was so bad. He was getting so frustrated and didn’t want to go to school. Peggy helped him read and he wanted to show everyone that he could do it. I feel like she saved us and would highly recommend her as a tutor.

    Frequently asked questions

All services begin with a parent consultation, including an IEP review if a child has qualified for ESE services. Then each student is assessed to identify areas of concern. A custom program, based on current research and Florida standards, is then created. Parent are kept informed at each stage in the process and a final assessment showing progress is provided.

I have been tutoring remotely since 2016 for students across the globe. I am a literacy specialist with 2 advanced degrees. I specialize in students that are a year or more below grade-level expectations in reading. My 20+ years of classroom teaching and private tutoring allows me to assess students for skill deficits and create custom learning programs.
